Bio
Biography:

Dan is an IT Manager who joined UC Davis in January 2017. He has had the opportunity to work in multiple divisions, including Student Affairs, OCP, IET, and now the School of Veterinary Medicine where he oversees application development teams supporting the school's faculty, students, staff, and the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Prior to joining the university, he worked as an IT architect and development leader in several industries including healthcare, publishing, and social media.

Dan has a passion for learning and mentoring and has participated in the campus Group Mentoring Program, Guardian Scholars, Management Skills Assessment Program, and on the Staff Assembly Citations of Excellence Committee. While he initially attended UC Davis as a freshman in Fall of 1993, he ended up getting his undergraduate degree later while working full time and eventually earned his MS Information Technology from CSU Fullerton.

Living with his spouse, two sons, and their basset hound Clover, Dan resides just outside of Marysville and most days commutes more than an hour into the office. He is an advocate for renewable energy and recently switched from a hybrid to a fully electric car.
