TGFS Accessibility Information:
· Venue: The event will take place on Russell Field, which is a grass field. Please be mindful that the field surface is uneven in places and may be wet.
· Event Scale: We anticipate over 7,000+ attendees, and the event will feature games, vendors, food, music, and more. Please be prepared for the potential of loud noises (e.g., amplified music, marching band) and the presence of various visual stimuli that could be overstimulating for some.
· Crowds and Lines: Given the attendance at the event, there will be crowds and lines at various points. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we strive to expedite service to all attendees.
· Seating: Tables and chairs will be provided in shaded areas and available on a first come, first served basis.
· Information Booth: An information booth will be available to assist attendees who have questions or concerns regarding accessibility or event logistics.
Any staff member may elect to attend the TGFS After Dark, our annual evening program tailored for alternate shift workers. This event will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 8 - 10:30 p.m., at the UC Davis Health Stadium, in the Bruce Edwards Room and along the top part of the concourse. TGFS After Dark will be held exclusively on accessible paved surfaces, and we anticipate a smaller crowd of around 400 attendees.
