Biography:
Honora is a higher education professional in her 14th year supporting students at UC Davis. She currently serves as the Integrated Program Advisor in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, where she blends academic advising, program development, and strategic planning to help students thrive.
Her work has been recognized with the NACADA Global Outstanding Advising Award – Primary Advising Role and the UC Davis Equity Champion Award. Beyond her advising role, Honora contributes to the UC Davis community through service on the Faculty Welfare Committee, Staff Assembly Executive Committee, Academic Advising Mentoring Program Committee, and the Advising for Equity Administrative Advisory Committee.
Honora earned her M.S. in Leadership and Management with an Organizational Development emphasis from the University of La Verne and a B.A. in Political Science from Cal Poly Pomona. When she’s not immersed in student success initiatives, you can find Honora enjoying crisp fall weather, discovering cozy local coffee shops, getting lost in audiobooks, or spending time with family and friends.
