We will put it on display for the staff to vote upon during Thank Goodness for Staff, Monday, May 17- Friday, May 21. TGFS Scavenger Hunt
TGFS Scavenger Hunt! How many items on our list can you find? Find as many as you can from our list and win prizes! There is no pre-registration for this event. Tasks will be released daily via our Staff Voice e-newsletter and added to the TGFS website. Each item you find and submit on the scavenger hunt list will serve as an entry into a raffle for a pair of AirPods. Submissions can be collected and submitted once at the end of the week or daily. All staff at the Davis campus are eligible to receive a giveaway from Staff Assembly as a token of our appreciation for everything you do to make UC Davis great. Staff will be able to pick from three options: a bamboo cutting board, embroidered ball cap, or a reusable food storage bag and straw. More details about the giveaways can be found here.

Let’s get TGFS started! Staff from both the Davis and Sacramento campuses are invited come together to hear remarks from Chancellor May and a keynote address from Shola Richards. Shola’s keynote will be Unstoppable Resilience: The Keys to Staying Strong During Any Crisis.

5 Clues to Your Talents | 1pm-2pm
Focusing our time and energy on what we excel in has been linked to increased productivity and engagement in the workplace. In this interactive workshop you will learn the five clues to talent, acquire tools to start conversations that focus on the positive, and see how a strengths-based approach can have a positive impact on individuals and teams. Imagine the possibilities if we could better articulate what we do best, and intentionally use those talents at work (every day!). The session will include use of breakout sessions within the online platform to allow for conversation and deeper learning. Participants should plan to attend with their video on, if possible

Latinx Staff and Faculty Association General Meeting | 12pm- 1pm
Join the Latinx Staff and Faculty Association (LSFA) for their monthly general meeting. LSFA has invited poet Yosimar Reyes to join and share his work.
Yosimar Reyes is a nationally-acclaimed Poet and Public Speaker. Born in Guerrero, Mexico, and raised in Eastside San Jose, Reyes explores the themes of migration and sexuality in his work. The Advocate named Reyes one of "13 LGBT Latinos Changing the World" and Remezcla included Reyes on their list of "10 Up And Coming Latinx Poets You Need To Know."
Rainbow’s Reign: Queer & Trans Mixer | 4pm-5pm
All are welcome for trivia, conversation, and community focused on LGBTQ staff experiences. The Chancellor's Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual Issues (CCLGBTQIA) is hosting this event.

Drive-In Movie | 8pm-10pm
Our final event for Thank Goodness for Staff is a special UC Davis Staff screening at the West Wind Drive-In! We will have two screens reserved for staff from the Davis campus. We will be showing The Goonies on one screen and The Lego Movie on the other screen. Registrants will need to follow special health and safety guidelines to participate in this event.
