Aggie Explorations: Craft Center Photo Gallery

Thank you to those that joined Staff Assembly at the UC Davis Craft Center on September 28th! And a big thank you to the UC Davis Craft Center for the tour!

It was a great opportunity to explore the arts and crafts, ceramic, flameworking, glass, jewelry, photography, screenprinting, textiles, welding and woodworking studios. 

The UC Davis Craft Center has been a campus program for 58 years. It was born at a particularly fruitful time in the ’60s and ’70s when getting “off the grid,” being self-sufficient, and living with nature held great appeal to many people. 

The Craft Center focuses on beginner-level classes and challenges everyone with artistic self-doubt to see what they can make. The Center offers more than 60 classes each quarter in their 11 different studios, ranging from one-day workshops to seven-week courses.
