Summary of proposed bylaws changes approved January 23, 2017
- Update and clarify responsibilities of Executive Committee positions
- Minor changes have been proposed throughout the document to improve formatting, consistency and accuracy of the text. These changes do not affect the content of the Bylaws.
- Update and clarify responsibilities of Executive Committee positions
- Function within each position has been removed to reflect current practice.
- Secretary shall assist Staff Assembly coordinator with meeting minutes.
- Past Chair shall continue all special committee/task force representation assumed as chair.
- Board & Committee Membership
- Significant changes have been made to clarify the roles within Staff Assembly.
- The General Assembly has been added to reflect that all staff are members of Staff Assembly and can attend and participate in Staff Assembly meetings.
- The appointment process for members has been removed and process for becoming a voting member has been clarified.
