TGFS Lunch Tickets on Sale

We're happy to announce the full TGFS menu has been released (with an ingredient list to be included shortly) and lunch tickets are now available for staff ($2) and student staff ($10).

Full details about the ticket ordering process are posted on the TGFS site. If you're ordering tickets for colleagues in your department, we highly encourage you to consult them on their entree preferences, which both ensures they get what they want, and enables us to provide the caterer an accurate menu count. We have five burrito options for staff to choose from: chicken, beef, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.

Breakfast with the Chancellor application (revised)

Staff Assembly is pleased to administer the Breakfast with the Chancellor program,  which provides a unique opportunity to meet with Chancellor Katehi and discuss topics of importance to staff, in an informal and relaxed setting. Breakfasts are held monthly and we invite career staff to read more about the program and submit an application.

Staff Assembly Membership

Every UC Davis staff person is a member of Staff Assembly. To get more involved in your Staff Assembly, please attend a meeting and submit a membership form to Staff Assembly Membership Chair, Nathan Ellstrand. Staff Assembly meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 12-1 p.m. in Plant and Environmental Sciences - Room 2005, as well as quarterly with the Chancellor and Provost.

Staff Assembly Mission

UC Davis Staff Assembly is dedicated to promoting the welfare, interests, and diversity of the staff, the campus and the University of California. To accomplish these goals, Staff Assembly works at maintaining and enhancing communication among the University community. Staff Assembly is an advisory group to UC Davis administration and also responds to administrative requests. We also propose or sponsor programs and activities committed to the interests of staff.

Discounted Six Flags Tickets

The annual UC Davis Family Picnic at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom will be held Saturday, July 25. Tickets are $40 (free for kids under 2 years old) and include park entry, an all-you-can-eat lunch, parking, and face painting for the kids (or young at heart).

This year, tickets can be purchased from the Six Flags booth at both the Davis and Sacramento campus TGFS events as well as an additional date on both campuses. If you can't make any of those dates, tickets can be purchased online without paying a service fee. Full details and ordering instructions are available on the UC Davis Family Picnic flyer.
