Description of Events Chair Position:
The Event Chair oversees the planning and implementation of events hosted by Staff Assembly every year, including Thank Goodness for Staff (TGFS), monthly meetings, Third Thursdays, and other employee engaging activities. The Events Chair may oversee an Events Committee to assist with the implementation of the various events.
Jamie has been the Event Manager for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences since September 2015 after being hired on contract in 2014. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing students through their experiences from Decision Day to Commencement (and so many others in between!). Jamie incorporated new events to Staff Assembly in her last term and is looking to make this year better than ever by getting staff engaged and excited about Staff Assembly!
Jamie enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, making calligraphy signs, and cleaning.
