Registration for the February 20th panel is now open for the “Diversity Dialogue: The Muslim American Experience” panel series. The topic for panel two is “Understanding Islamophobia: A Conversation with Community Leaders.”

Lunch will be served at 11:45am and the panel will be from 12:00-1:00pm. For those who wish to stay longer, we will continue to have informal Q&A until 1:30.

This panel series is funded by a Diversity and Inclusion Innovation grant and was created in response to an article in the July 2016 issue of "Staff Voice". The article highlighted a conversation from the last "Breakfast with the Interim Chancellor". Staff expressed there was a lack of conversation and learning opportunities for UC Davis staff about Islam & Muslims. Also, it is often the case these events about these topics are aimed towards a student/faculty audience and held at times staff cannot attend.

The series consists of three lunchtime events in the 2017-18 academic year with one panel discussion planned for each academic quarter. Each panel will consist of three panelists, followed by audience Q&A and discussion. Lunch will be served at 11:45am.

Seats are very limited and registration is required for all three events.
