2021 TGFS In Review

Thank you for participating in our 2021 Thank Goodness for Staff: Staff Appreciation Week! Staff Assembly hopes you enjoyed the event, signed up for your giveaway, connected with colleagues, and felt appreciated for everything you do to make UC Davis great.

Thank You from Campus Leadership

Campus leaders throughout the Davis campus recorded and submitted videos to share their appreciation with staff.

Kick-Off Event

TGFS kicked off with remarks from Chancellor May and a keynote address from Shola Richards titled "Unstoppable Resilience: The Keys to Staying Strong During Any Crisis." The Unstoppable Resilience™ keynote provides the audience with the highly-practical strategies to build unshakable strength within themselves and within their teams. Missed it or want to re-watch? Check out the recording on AggieVideo. Those interested may also download the Unstoppable Resilience workbook.

Trigger warning: The keynote speaker shares a story of attempted suicide. If you or someone you know could benefit from mental health resources, you can visit Academic and Staff Assistance Program (ASAP) and Each Aggie Matters. In crisis? Text "RELATE" to 741741 or call 1-800-273-8255.

5 Clues to Your Talents

Thank you to Amy Shuman, Workforce Development Director for the Division of Student Affairs, for her workshop titled "5 Clues to Your Talent." To access the workshop handouts, please click below.

Chancellor & LeShelle May's Thursday Thoughts

In this special edition of Thursday Thoughts, LeShelle and the Chancellor celebrate TGFS by playing a game in which they guess the staff’s favorite campus locations, animals and eggheads. Guess who gets the most points!
