Scholarships
Each year UC Davis Staff Assembly offers staff scholarships for Staff and Staff Dependents. The awards are based on demonstrated academic potential, community service and financial need. The number of scholarships and the amounts will vary depending on available funding each year.
Staff Scholarships
The UC Davis/UCDHS Staff Scholarship is supported through the efforts, fundraising, gift funds, contributions of individual UC Davis/UCDHS employees, the UC Davis Staff Retiree's Association and the UC Davis Staff Assembly. Staff members initiated the Staff Scholarship Program in 1981 as a memorial to Margene Orzalli. The Scholarship Program was created to help career staff employees continue their education in Associate, Bachelor's or graduate degree programs at community colleges, state colleges, universities (public or private), or professional schools while employed at the University of California, Davis. Recipients also have demonstrated involvement in the general areas of campus or community service.

Staff Dependent Scholarships
The UC Davis Staff Dependent Scholarship is supported through the efforts and fundraising of the UC Davis Staff Assembly. This scholarship was initiated for dependents of Staff who are attending or will be attending UC Davis as an undergraduate. Recipients will have active involvement in the following areas; community organizations, academic or vocational activities, and be a positive role model in student organizations. Awardees must a
lso maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 to keep their scholarship.
